One easy test can give Seb a second chance.
At just 20 years old Seb was diagnosed with the aggressive and life-threatening cancer - acute myeloid leukaemia.
Seb is now undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment, and is hoping a suitable stem cell donor can be found so he can proceed with an essential bone marrow transplant.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
To register as a stem cell donor, you’ll need to be aged 18-35 and meet some basic eligibility requirements. You can then order a free cheek swab (which can be sent to you via mail) or provide an extra sample when you next donate blood. This sample lets Stem Cell Donors Australia match your genetic type to any patient in need.
A big thank you from the Stockdale family for all those who donate, share and get tested to see if you could be a match.
